Socialism or Capitalism - The Choice Is Coming

Every election year, American politicians always say that THIS is the most important election in the history of the United States. For the most part in years past, that was rarely true; but it made for good drama. In 2010 and 2012, it should now be clear that these two upcoming election years will be among the most important in American history. While the United States has suffered some particularly bad Presidents in the past like Grant, Buchanan, Harding and Carter and many corrupt Congressmen and Senators, our nation survived in spite of them. This is true because our Constitution, as written by our Founding Fathers, has always served as the bed rock of our nation.

However, with the election of Socialist President Obama and Congress currently controlled by Socialists, our country is really at a turning point and so the elections of 2010 and 2012 will be among the most important in our history. To be clear, the Democrat Party is dead and is today controlled by left wing ideologues who are Socialists. Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich calls them Secular Socialists because they are all big government, tax and spend, left wing radicals, most of whom have never worked in the real world and many of whom come from academia including Obama. These Socialists see government as the solution to every problem when in fact government is usually the reason for the problem.

We are indeed at a crossroad and the outcome will be determined by the elections of 2010 and 2012. We will either remain a nation founded on the basis of free market capitalism, which has always been the basis for our growth, prosperity and power. Or, if Obama is not stopped, he and the Socialists that control Congress will transform the United States into a Socialist nation, which will result in a lower standard of living for all and the financial collapse of the United States as is happening in Europe.

Many of the 50% of Americans who pay no income taxes at all and are in fact tax users, along with public employee union members feeding at the trough, the left wing media and the academic elite will vote for Socialism because they do not support free market capitalism even though it is the goose laying their golden eggs.

Many of the 50% of Americans who pay all the income taxes in this country, along with small business owners and entrepreneurs who are job creators, people of faith and people in the heartland, will vote for Conservatives who support free market capitalism. It is red state against blue state; Socialists against Conservatives and the divide has never been greater because of Socialist President Obama that many see as a clear and present danger to the United States. This is why there is a Tea Party Movement and protests in the streets.

And, let there be no doubt, this divide has nothing to do with the fact that Obama is an African American. This divide is not racial at all. It is instead ideological. Obama's Socialist vision for America is not the vision of most Americans and certainly not the vision of our Founding Fathers, who did everything they could when drafting the Constitution, to limit government. Those limitations have been trampled in the last 100 years by various Presidents, Congresses and the Courts, which is the reason we must take back our country in 2010 and 2012.

The fate of our country will be decided in 2010 and 2012 by about 20% of Americans; mostly Independents and so called "Moderates" of both political parties. It is these people that will determine if we are to be a Socialist nation, or a Capitalist nation. If the vote were held today, there is a pretty good likelihood that the Republican Party and more importantly Conservatives would take over one, or both houses of Congress because Independents and Moderates of both parties are leaning Republican. Of course, six months in politics is a life time so the outcome of the election in 2010 is far from determined. Most Americans oppose Obama's HealthScare Plan, SwindleUS Plan, CAP & TAX and all the bail outs that are bankrupting our country. Most Americans are center right rather than Socialists so there is a very good chance that we will be able to take back our country in 2010 and 2012.

Conservatives must regain control of Congress in 2010 to stop all of Obama's Socialist Schemes and effectively end Obama's Presidency. The choice is clear. Free Market Capitalism and prosperity and freedom, or Obama's Socialism, which will lead to tyranny and has failed to bring prosperity and economic growth, throughout the world when ever and where ever it has been tried. We must take back our country in 2010 and 2012. We can do it. We must do it for the sake of our children and grandchildren.
