The Economy, Energy and National Security

Any Presidential Debate about US foreign policy must focus on the Economy, Energy Independence and National Security.   While Socialist President Obama would prefer to keep these topics separate, it is impossible.   Our involvement in the world is directly tied to the strength, or weakness of our Economy.   When we have a strong Economy, we can project power around the world.   The opposite is true when our Economy is weak.  

We have to extricate our nation from the problems in the Middle East, as much as possible, by becoming Energy Independent.   While our support for Israel should be unwavering, when the day comes that we no longer need oil from the Middle East to support our Economy, the Middle East will no longer be in our daily news.   This will also help our Economy as the billions of dollars flowing to the Middle East today will remain in our country to restore economic growth and jobs again in America.  

Of course, we will never achieve Energy Independence as long as Socialists, like Obama and his pals in all levels of government, remain in office because they are tied to radical environmentalists that oppose all carbon and nuclear based energy sources.  We cannot achieve Energy Independence, using our own natural resources, without an all of the above Energy policy that includes clean coal, natural gas, oil, oil and gas shale and nuclear energy.   Current technology is such that solar, wind and bio fuels can only supply a very small part of our energy needs, at very high prices, so they cannot be the basis for American Energy Independence. 

Our National Security is directly tied to the strength of our Economy and American Energy Independence.   Mitt Romney gets it, which is the reason he is intent on making our country Energy Independent in the next ten years.   This will create millions of jobs and lead to a economic growth.   We have to elect Mitt Romney, the next President of the United States and gain Republican control of both Houses of Congress to prevent the bankruptcy of the United States and get our country back on track.   It will not happen any other way.

We have to make Obama a one term President on November 6 for the good of our country.  Sending Obama into early retirement is a National Security issue.   We can do it.   We must do it to preserve our freedom, our nation and way of life for the sake of our children and grandchildren.    A growing Economy is dependent on American Energy Independence, which is vital to our National Security.
