Political Rhetoric Cuts Both Ways & Tragedy

Many in the left wing media and the Socialists in government are now blaming the tragedy in Arizona on right wing radio, television and blogs that have been critical of them. Socialists claim that "inflammatory language" is inciting violence. As I recall, Socialists in the United States are the people guilty of using "inflammatory language" as they have commonly referred to Conservatives and members of the Tea Party Movement as racists, astro turf, an unruly mob, greedy, selfish, red necks, their enemies and a number of other derogatory names. The worst we can say of the Socialists in power is that they are Socialists rather than Democrats in the Truman, Kennedy, Johnson, or Clinton traditions. Some of them, along with some Republicans are also crooks that should be in jail rather than in Congress for what they have done to bankrupt our country. i.e a $14 Trillion National Debt.

The Socialist title is appropriate because with the election of President Obama, the left wing of the Democrat Party is now predominate. Obama is clearly a Socialist in Democrat clothing and the most polarizing President since Franklin Roosevelt. ObamaCare and CAP & TAX are Socialist Schemes designed to expand government control over our lives. Socialists support huge deficit spending that is bankrupting our country, big unions, high taxes and more regulations and bigger more intrusive government to control all aspects of our lives. It is what it is.

The horrible tragedy in Arizona, committed by a deranged, 22 year old man really has nothing to do with the battle of ideas that is going on in the United States. For many Americans, the balloon has finally burst as we see the impact of 98 years of Socialism in our country that began with the enactment of the 16th Amendment to the Constitution in 1913 allowing for a confiscatory federal income tax. Since then, we have had incremental Socialist creep that has resulted in a loss of our freedoms in a way that was never intended by our Founding Fathers when they drafted the Constitution. In fact, the Constitution was supposed to establish limited government and what we have today is limitless government.

As such, the Socialists will demagogue the Arizona tragedy trying to make it about "inflammatory language and gun control" rather than what it is; a violent act by a deranged man. Socialists will demagogue this tragedy because they are actually losing the battle of ideas as was demonstrated during the 2010 elections. It is important for all to recognize that Free Speech and criticism of those in power is not Hate Speech. And by the way, politics in the United States has been a rough and tumble game every since George Washington retired from the Presidency and John Adams and Thomas Jefferson took center stage.

In those days, there were no blogs or television; but there were newspapers filled with editorials and cartoons that portrayed our elected representatives as liars, scoundrels, crooks, adulterers and in Lincoln's case, even as a monkey. Since then, the left wing media and Socialists in and out of government called President George W Bush every negative name conceivable; yet we heard no outrage while that was happening, or calls for limits on Free Speech.

Political rhetoric cuts both ways. Socialists are as guilty of dividing our nation as any political party in our history. America, through Socialist glasses, is always half empty, rather than half full. Those who are successful in Socialist lexicon have achieved success not because they have gotten a good education, or worked hard; but because they have taken advantage of the poor. Socialists in the United States, including President Obama, have practiced class warfare for the last 98 years always looking for the next villain du jour to pit one American against another American. Of course, villains are never those that contribute to Socialist campaigns, like big unions, or trial lawyers.

Villains in a Socialist world are always the rich, banks, drug companies, insurance companies, doctors, mortgage companies, corporate America, company CEO's etc. etc, really any one they can use as an excuse to get reelected that President Obama recently referred to as "our enemies". And then, Socialist wonder why these groups see them as the enemy. Remember, it was President Obama that told his Conservative critics in the last election to "shut up" and "ride in the back of the bus", which wasn't exactly inclusive, or friendly, let alone dignified for the President of the United States, was it?

As Abraham Lincoln once said, "a nation divided against itself cannot stand". President Obama and the Socialist Party are dividers, not uniters in every action they take and every word they say. As Socialists seek to blame Conservatives for the Arizona tragedy, instead of just recognizing that this was the act of a deranged man, they again seek to divide our country. Ironically, Socialists choose to see Terrorist acts, committed by Islamic extremists, as isolated incidents rather than the global coordinated schemes that they are. So Terrorist acts are isolated incidents; but what happened in Tuscon is part of some grand political scheme inspired by hate speech. Go figure.

It's OK. We get the message, which is the reason we will work even harder to sweep these Socialists out of office in 2012 and 2014 by ELECTING Conservatives that support free market capitalism, limited government, lower taxes and less regulation, a balanced budget, term limits, real eduction, energy and health care reform, a strong national defense, including securing our border and fighting Terrorism, the right to bear arms (that no doubt will now come under attack), the sanctity of life and family values that are the foundation of our nation. This is the platform supported by the majority of the American people and the only way to restore economic growth and jobs in America. We will not allow the Arizona tragedy to stop us from pursuing these ideals in our quest to take back our country.

Most important, we must elect Conservatives who will adhere to the Constitution, including the First and Second Amendments, as written by our Founding Fathers, not as contrived by the left wing media, Socialists in the last 98 years, our current, or former Presidents, Congresses, or the Courts. We must take back our country at the ballot box in 2012 and 2014. We can do it. We must to it to preserve our freedom, our nation and way of life for the sake of our children and grandchildren.
