Senator Jim Demint - American Hero

Senator Jim Demint of South Carolina is an American hero. He is standing up in the US Senate against both Socialists and establishment Republicans and saying HELL NO to more Socialist creep. Nancy Pelosi and the Socialists in the House of Representatives enacted more than 400 left wing bills that are stalled in the US Senate. Most of those bills were dead on arrival because they were so radical that they will never see the light of day; Thank God. However, as Congress adjourns for the upcoming election, both Socialists and Republicans attempted to ram through about 40 of those bills by unanimous consent. Senator Demint stood up and used a procedural move to stop it all from happening. No doubt, there was probably more spending and government control over our lives in those bills. We all owe Senator Demint our thanks for his courage in standing up and saying HELL NO.

Senator Jim Demint is a member of the Tea Party Movement who believes in free market capitalism, limited government, lower taxes and less regulation, a balanced budget, real energy independence and health care reform, a strong national defense, including securing our border and fighting Terrorism, the right to bear arms, the sanctity of life and family values. This is the winning platform supported by the American people and the only way to restore economic growth and job creation in the United States.

In the mean time, the Congress has adjourned without acting on the Bush Tax Cuts. If those tax cuts are not extended, or made permanent, it will be the biggest tax increase in American history. If these tax cuts are allowed to expire on December 31st, 2010, the government will confiscate an additional $4 Trillion in the next ten years from the American people. If this happens, we will see high unemployment, slow growth and a lower standard of living for years to come. We can't let this happen.

The tidal wave in coming on November 2nd and many Socialists will be swept out of office; however, there will still be a lame duck session between then and January, 2011. The vanquished Socialists, including the President, will be particularly dangerous during this time period. Most likely the Republicans in the Senate and the Blue Dog Democrats who survive have enough votes to beat back most crazy, Socialist Schemes; but we must be prepared to raise holy HELL if these Socialists try to ram through higher taxes and more regulations and CAP & TAX all of which will further destroy our economy. We may have to go to Washington DC like the towns people in the Frankenstein movies with pitch forks and tar and feathers. If these Socialists don't see the light, we must make them feel the heat.

We must take back our country in 2010 and 2012 by electing Conservatives and young guns like Senator Jim Demint (not RINO's). We need courageous Conservatives who support the Constitution, as written by our Founding Fathers, not as contrived by the left wing media, Socialists Obama, Reid, Pelosi, former Presidents, Congresses, or the Courts. It is time for radical change to limit the size of government. The last thing we need is go along to get along elected representatives. We need tough Conservatives who are prepared to roll back 97 years of Socialist creep not just tinker around the edges. We must take back our country in 2010 and 2012. We can do it. We will do to preserve our freedoms, our nation and way of life and for the sake of our children and grandchildren.
