Time to Unleash American Industrial Might

The United States was ill prepared when the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. However, within one year of the surprise attack, America like a sleeping giant, arose and unleashed our industrial might to become the arsenal of the world. Now, we face a different challenge and in many ways more dangerous internal challenge. President Obama, the Socialists that control Congress and their environmental wacko supporters must be swept aside to unleash American industrial might once again. That does not mean reckless actions that would destroy our environment; but it does mean a balanced approach to create good paying manufacturing jobs in the United States.

First, we must reject Obama's crazy CAP & TAX scheme to tax carbon based energy, which would make energy more expensive and raise the cost of all goods and services for all. CAP & TAX would result in a lower standard of living for all Americans, which is what Obama intends in his drive to "transform" America. Obama actually believes that the standard of living in the United States is too high and that we consume too much of the world's resources; hence his relentless push to make energy more expensive. WE THE PEOPLE must stand up and just say HELL NO to Obama and his wacko supporters.

Instead, we must bring down the cost of energy by developing American source nuclear, clean coal, natural gas, oil and oil shale as a bridge to future technologies like wind, solar and bio fuels that are not economically feasible today. This should be a 50 year plan that is implemented in an environmentally sound way again with balance in mind. If the wackos had been in control during World War II, it would have been impossible to ramp up industrial production as was necessary to win the war. We are in a new war and it is called global competition. The Chinese are winning right now because many of our elected representatives are morons.

Next, the United States has the highest corporate income tax in the world, which is driving jobs overseas. We have to cut government spending so that we can make the Bush Tax Cuts permanent and cut the corporate income tax to no more than 25% (the same as China) rather than the 35% that exists in the US today. How can American manufacturers compete on a global stage if manufacturing product in the US, when both our corporate income tax and labor cost are much higher than if production is overseas. It is only common sense.

And, then finally, we must convince cigar smoking union bosses that they have destroyed manufacturing jobs in the US by demanding compensation and benefits that are not competitive. No one is asking workers to work for the wages paid in China, or third world companies; but $75 an hour, fully loaded, for a factory worker requiring minimal training or education, ensures that those jobs will be shipped overseas to a lower cost environment. Again, as with crazy environmental constraints, we need unions to wake up and smell the coffee. The balloon has burst and it is has caused 18% real unemployment that will continue for years if we don't work together as a nation, recognizing global competition and reality.

Now Obama wants to sell a chuck of General Motors to the Chinese. Is this guy nuts, or what? Our un-American President is funding off shore drilling in Brazil with our tax money to redistribute wealth; but will not allow energy development in the United States. This is starting to border on treason, or at least it is a betrayal of the American nation and people. We have to put and end to it.

Americans need good paying jobs, not just to make a living to sustain their families; but to have a purpose in life. This is about ending despair and malaise in our country. To get there, we must sweep these Socialists that are destroying our economy and our country out of office in 2010 and 2012. We must elect Conservatives who support free market capitalism, limited government, lower taxes and less regulation, a balanced budget, term limits, real energy independence and health care reform, a strong national defense, including securing our border and fighting Terrorism, the right to bear arms, the sanctity of life and family values. This is the platform supported by the majority of the American people and the only way to restore our economy and job creation in our country.

Most important, we must elect Conservatives in 2010 and 2012 who support the Constitution, as written by our Founding Fathers, not as contrived by the left wing media, Socialists Obama, Reid, Pelosi, former Presidents, Congresses, or the Courts. We must take back our country in 2010 and 2012. We can do it. We will do it to preserve our freedoms, our nation and way of life and for the sake of our children and grandchildren.
