Pentagon Calls Climate Change A National Security Issue - Really!

Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel now claims that Climate Change is a National Security issue.  Hagel made this claim at a Conference in Peru, rather than staying in the US to focus on the War we are fighting in Iraq and Syria.  Talk about priorities, or the lack thereof. Since Hagel often appears clueless when questioned during hearings before Congress, perhaps he has been drinking environmental wacko Kool Aide to come to this conclusion.  Even if Climate Change is a legitimate problem in the next 50 - 100 years, which is still debatable, to equate Climate Change with the many real National Security threats we face today is laughable.   ISIS is winning in Iraq and Syria in their goal to establish an Islamic Fascist Caliphate in the Middle East and beyond.   ISIS is brutally murdering Muslims, Christians and Jews in an act of genocide.   ISIS is committed to destroying Western Civilization as we know it.

Iran, that funds Terrorists around the world, is inches closer to having nuclear weapons and the missiles to deliver them.  North Korea, run by lunatics, has nuclear weapons and is perfecting the missiles to reach the United States.   China is threatening its neighbors in the South China Sea.  Russia has invaded the Ukraine with hostile boots on the ground in the middle of Europe for the first time since the end of the Cold War.  The Middle East is in turmoil and on fire.

We face an Ebola epidemic in West Africa, which could impact the entire world if it is not contained there.   There are Terrorists coming across our border with Mexico because Obamanistas refuse to secure the border.  Obama and his minions are gutting the US Military at a time that we need to be stronger than ever.  And, Secretary of State Chuck Hagel is talking about Climate Change.  Surely, there are many more National Security threats of far greater significance.
