Time For Common Sense In America

This Blogger has written well over 1,000 postings since the very first one more than three years ago and it  dawned on me that I have just been preaching common sense on so many issues facing our country.   In synopsis, I have said the following so many times. 

1.  We cannot go on borrowing $4 Billion a day adding to our $16 Trillion National Debt because it will cause the bankruptcy of the United States and a loss of our National Sovereignty. 
2.  Raising taxes on anyone is a job killer; just Economics 101.
3.  People who can work should not be on Welfare, or Disability Benefits. 
4.  We must secure our border to stop illegal aliens, drugs and Terrorists from entering our country.  We cannot be Mexico's welfare system.
5.  Public employees should not receive total compensation and benefits that is 40% more than is common in the private sector.   We can't afford it.
6.  We have the natural resources to be energy independent within 10 years.  We cannot allow radical environmentalists to destroy our economy, which is happening now. 
7.  We must roll back 100 years of Socialist Creep that intrudes into all aspects of daily life to preserve and protect our freedom.
8. Social Security and Medicare must be reformed to save both programs for future generations. 
9.  We can't afford ObamaCare as just one more huge government entitlement program, when the government is heading toward bankruptcy. 
10.  Pouring more money into a failed public education system just make no sense.  We need major educational reform not more money down a rat hole.

There is nothing radical in any of these concepts; just plain old common sense.   We have to take back our country to restore common sense, economic growth and job creation again in America.  To do so, we must sweep Socialists at all levels of government, including President Obama, out of office in 2012 and 2014 because they just do not practice common sense.   We must elect Mitt Romney as the next President of the United States and gain complete Republican control of Congress if we have any chance of getting our country back our track.   We can do it.   We must do it to preserve our freedom, our nation and way of life for the sake of our children and grandchildren.
