Obama's Political Machine Stumbling

In 2008, the Obama Political Machine was flawless first destroying the Clinton Machine in the old Democrat Party and then finally demolishing John McCain, a weak Republican candidate.  Of course, Obama had virtually no experience and no record of any kind in business, or in politics that could be used as an anvil against him.   Obama did have the Reverend Wright and various other Socialist and Communist friends as baggage; but neither the left wing lame stream media, nor McCain made an issue of Obama's friends.   And, further whether Obama was born in America or not, the fact is that he is not American in his thinking, which should also have been an issue in 2008; though it did not happen. 

In 2008, Socialist Barack Obama was smart, had a great smile and family and he could give a good speech using a TelePrompter.  Obama was disciplined and he stayed on message to win.  Even though McCain had the resume, McCain was an old man, way beyond his years, trying to beat a media savvy Obama who had the solid support of the left wing lame stream media and a billion dollars to spend on the campaign.   Further, there were many in America that liked the idea of the first Black, or in this case, half Black President in American history.   As a former American history and government teacher, that fact was never lost on this Blogger; though I did not vote for Obama because he was and is a Socialist; plain and simple. 

That was all then and this is now.   In 2010, Obama took a "shellacking" at the polls losing the House of Representatives and nearly losing the Senate because of ObamaCare and other Socialists Schemes.   The bloom was off the rose.  The United States is a center right country.  It became very clear during the President's first two years in office that he is a left wing Socialist ideologue.  Actions speak louder than Obama's propaganda.   Once the American people saw the real Obama, they rejected him and many Socialist members of Congress during 2010 elections at both the federal and state level. 

And now, Obama has a record of failure during his first term.   Smiles and great speeches aside, cards talk and numbers don't lie.   Obama's borrowing and deficit spending Trillion dollar SwindleUS Plans failed to create jobs.   In total, Obama will add $5 Trillion to the $16 Trillion National Debt, during his first term in office, the highest amount of any President in American history, with no end in sight.  

There are 25 million Americans either unemployed, under employed working part time that want full time work, or who have just given up looking for work altogether.   The number of people on Food Stamps has grown from 20 million when Obama took office to 46 million.   The foreclosure rate is the highest in American history.  The poverty rate has gone up under Obama.  These numbers are all real and they are nothing to smile about.  Nor can this data be disguised.  It is what it is. 

As such, all of Obama's campaign themes have fallen flat.  Class Warfare, attacks on Romney's business experience and the actual word "Forward", which is Obama's new positioning for 2012 rather than "Hope and Change".  Further, the notion that Obama is Black is now of no particular consequence.   That ship has sailed.  Instead, what Americans see is Jimmy Carter II.   Obama still has a great smile and family and can give a good speech; but unfortunately for the President, his failed record is apparent like an anvil around his neck. 

Mitt Romney is starting to look like the next President of the United States, while Obama is starting to look more and more like a failed one term President.   As such,  Obamanistas appear to be thrashing around for a theme that resonates.   The reality is that putting lip stick on a pig doesn't change the fact that it is still a pig, which is why Obama is failing to resonate with the American people.  Obamanistas ran a brilliant, take no prisoner campaign in 2008.   2012 is another day because Obama is now a failed President with a record.
