Obama The Job Killer & Crony Capitalism

As Socialist President Obama hit the road to promote his latest $447 billion SwindleUS Plan, which he titles the American Jobs Act, Obamanistas are still busy killing jobs.  Canada has been pushing to extend an oil pipeline from Canada to Houston in the United States.  The proposed Keystone Gulf Coast Expansion Project is a projected 1,661 mile, 36 inch oil pipeline.   It would begin at Hardisty, Alberta Canada, extend southeast through Montana, South Dakota and Nebraska, connect with existing pipeline in Nebraska and Kansas, then start anew in Oklahoma until it terminates in Houston, Texas. 

This pipeline would allow Canada to increase the supply of oil derived from oil sands to the US by 830,000 barrels a day.  That extra flow is roughly half of what the US currently imports from the Persian Gulf.   Canada is currently the biggest oil supplier to the US at 2.6 million barrels daily.   This pipeline would allow Canadian supply to grow to 3 million barrels a day in a very short time.  Most important, this means more oil coming for our closest ally in North America, rather than countries that often act like our enemies.  In many ways, we would be keeping our money at home rather than shipping it overseas as building this pipeline would create thousands of jobs in the US. 

Sounds great, right?   Obamanistas at the Environmental Protection Agency have had this pipeline under review for three years.   Canadian oil sands development will happen with or without this pipeline.  The only question is will this oil and these jobs be in the United States, or will Canada end up selling this oil to other countries.    The energy industry in the US supports over 9 million jobs and represents 7.7 percent of US GDP; yet Obama's Gestapo, the EPA is doing everything it can to prevent the development of existing energy sources to make energy more expensive in an effort to justify the high cost of renewables, solar, wind and bio fuels that are not really feasible today. 

In fact, Obama's "green" economy is another example of crony capitalism as the federal government is handing out billions of tax payers dollars in subsidies to these companies.   One such subsidy has turned into a criminal and Congressional investigation.  Solyndra was Obama's green poster child producing solar panels in Fremont, California.   Solyndra was "loaned" $535 million by the Department of Energy that cannot be accounted for now that Solyndra has filed for bankruptcy.   When they could not repay this loan the Department of Energy actually placed a government staff member on Solyndra's Board.   This is big government Communism; not Capitalism.  This money is gone with the wind, or in this case, the sun.   While Obama visited Solyndra's factory in 2009 touting this success story, it is not likely that the President will ever go there again particularly with the election looming.   The reason is that China is the largest producer of solar panels in the world.  Solyndra, doing business in high cost California, clearly could not compete with China even with US government subsidies and crony capitalism. 

But the king of crony capitalist is Jeffrey Immelt, the CEO of GE and Obama's pal.  Immelt was appointed the head of Obama's Jobs Council, which earned him a seat next to First Lady Michelle Obama during Obama's SwindleUS Plan speech before the recent joint session of Congress.   Of course, GE used to own NBC and was part owner in MSNBC, the Socialist news networks that supported Obama when he ran for the Presidency in 2008 and still support him today.   Does anyone think it was a coincidence that GE was given a multi billion dollar bail out during the financial crisis because Immelt so mismanaged the company that GE Financial was in trouble. 

It gets better.   GE paid NO federal income taxes in 2010, because most of their profits were overseas and they had "green" tax credits in the US.   That is called working the system.  And, further, Immelt, the guy Obama appointed to create jobs in the US, has moved 20% of GE's jobs overseas during his disastrous ten year tenure as CEO of GE.   As a GE stockholder, I think Immelt should be FIRED for destroying GE's stock value.  Recently, Immelt announced that he was moving two of GE's major subsidiaries to China in joint ventures with the Chinese government.   This will result in thousands of jobs being moved to China and a technology transfer that is clearly not in the best interest of the United States.   Yet, we hear nothing from Obama when he attacks other US corporations.   Wonder why?   It is called big time campaign contributions from GE and their PAC's. 

However, in fairness to Jeffrey Immelt, Socialist creep that has been happening for more than 100 years in the US, culminating in the king of Socialists in power, President Obama, has been pushing jobs overseas for years.  ObamaCare as the last straw may in fact be the biggest job killer in American history.   The fact is that US corporate income taxes, frivolous lawsuits, crazy employment practice laws, environmental wacko regulations, unions and in general a higher cost of doing business in the US is causing American companies to move jobs overseas.   This will not stop until we get our country back our track.  

Obama's SwindleUS Plan IV will do no nothing to create economic growth and job creation again in America.   The balloon has burst.   We need to elect common sense, rock solid Conservatives that support free market capitalism, limited government, lower taxes and less regulation, a balanced budget, term limits, real education, energy, health care and entitlement reform, a strong national defense, including securing our border and fighting Terrorism, the right to bear arms, the sanctity of life and family values that are the foundation of our nation.   This is the platform supported by the majority of the American people and the only way we can restore economic growth and job creation in our country.  

We need to take back our country in 2012 and 2014.   Obama's Socialist Schemes will not result in economic growth and job creation, which is the reason we must make him a one term President.   But we must go further, we also sweep Obama's Socialist pals out of office at all levels of government.   We have to clean out the barn to end the smell and corruption.   We can do it.   We must do it to preserve our freedom, our nation and way of life for the sake of our children and grandchildren.   Obamanistas are all job killers that practice crony capitalism.   They all have to go in 2012 and 2014.
