Republican Beware - Socialists Will Never Cut Spending

In negotiations to raise the National Debt Ceiling to allow Socialist President Obama to continue spending trillions of dollars in borrowed money that is bankrupting our country,  Obama is proposing $4 trillion in spending cuts over 10 or 12 years along with a trillion dollars in new taxes.   Republicans beware, Socialists will never cut spending in the future.  If Republicans agree to this deal, we will get the higher taxes and no spending cuts at all.  In fact, if this deal comes together, the next day, this Blogger will be calling Republican Speaker for House John Boehner's office to find out what specific cuts were agreed to as part of the deal.   And, to be clear, any Republican that votes to increase taxes should be challenged in the primaries as a RINO.

We currently have official unemployment of 9.2%, which is really about 17% if all are counted, the unemployed, the under employed working part time and those that have simply given up looking for work.   There are about 25 million Americans in these categories many of whom have lost their homes to foreclosure.  It would be absolutely crazy to raise taxes during what is turning out to be a double dip recession.   And anyway, we do not have a revenue problem, we have a spending problem.   As such, Republicans that vote for tax increases will be dead on arrival at the polls in 2012 and 2014.   More important, higher taxes will retard economic growth and cause even higher unemployment.  Higher taxes are a job killer by any measure.

We need to see a federal government hiring freeze so that 500,000 federal government jobs are eliminated in the next five years, which can be done by normal attrition.   The savings over ten years would be trillions of dollars.   We need to see the federal government shrunk from 25% of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) to no more than 17%.   Believe me, if these federal employee jobs are eliminated,  the federal government will be forced to focus on essential services, rather than bureaucracy designed to intrude into every facet of daily life.  Further, a large, bloated federal government is a direct threat to our freedom.  Most of all, as part of any deal to raise the National Debt Ceiling, we need to see the process begun to enact a Balanced Budget Constitutional Amendment to prevent the deficit spending that is bankrupting our country.

It is highly doubtful that any of these things will happen as long as Socialist President Obama and his Socialist pals in Congress are in office, which is the reason we must sweep them all out of office in 2012 and 2014.   These Socialists are destroying and bankrupting our country.   WE THE PEOPLE must stand up and say NO MORE as we work to roll back 100 years of Socialism.   We have to elect rock solid, common sense Conservatives (not RINO's) that support free market capitalism, limited government, lower taxes and less regulation, a balanced budget, term limits, real education, energy and health care reform, a strong national defense, that includes securing our border and fighting Terrorism, the right to bear arms, the sanctity of life and family values that are the foundation of our nation.   This is the platform supported by the American people and the only way to restore economic growth and job creation in America.

We have to take back our country in 2012 and 2014 to prevent the bankruptcy of our nation.   We cannot count on Socialists to cut spending 10 years from now.   They just won't do it because they are in business to redistribute income from the Makers in America to the Takers.   As poverty pimps, this is how Socialists get elected; otherwise, they have no reason for being.   Republicans need to be very careful in their dealings with Socialists.   They cannot be trusted to cut spending.   As such, if Republicans sign on to a deal to raise the National Debt Ceiling, it must be iron clad and in writing with specifics, not some nebulous promise to cut spending in the future.   Cards talk and numbers don't lie.   If we don't see the specific spending cuts codified into law, we can assume they will never happen.   As usual, it will just be more smoke and mirrors; but this time incumbent Republicans will pay a price at the polls.
